I always know when I have entered a space that has been organized by folks involved with the Center for Participatory Change…because of the atmosphere that is created. And that atmosphere is one of openness in which all different kinds of people, all individuals, all identities, are welcomed, are valued, and are given an opportunity to be heard and participate.
