Staff Structure and Staff Members

Staff Structure

In 2005, CPC revised its staff structure; we now operate as a collaborative and egalitarian organization.  CPC does not have an Executive Director, or any hierarchical organizational structure.  All staff members share equally in power, authority, responsibility, and accountability.  Each staff member serves as a point person for various pieces of CPC’s internal work (e.g., grantwriting, financial management) and community work (e.g., support of various grassroots groups).  The point person is responsible for overseeing that piece of work and making sure everything gets done (but not for doing all of the work).  One staff member serves as Coordinator (a rotating two-year term); the Coordinator acts as liaison with the Board, acts as signatory for the organization, and provides a primary point of contact when needed.  Major decisions are considered by the staff collectively, under the overall vision and direction of the Board of Directors.
