Volunteer: Ways to Get Involved in Supporting CPC
As CPC grows, we depend more and more on the efforts of Friends who volunteer their time, ideas and hard work. Here we've listed several ways that people are helping support our work, but there are dozens more. If you're interested in any of these, or if you have other ideas, drop us an email at info@cpcwnc.org. We'd love your help!
Friends Campaign
CPC relies on Friends to help us find people who might become new Friends. Help us make the network stronger!
- Turn in your friends: send us names and addresses of people you know who might like to receive CPC's newsletter and other mailings.
- Have a "house party" to spread the word about CPC and find new Friends (we'll provide a plan and materials).
- Check to see if your employer has a matching gift program.
- Help us make connections with individuals, businesses or foundations that you may know who would be interested in supporting CPC.
In Western North Carolina
- Attend the meetings, events and celebrations of our grassroots partners.
- Volunteer with any of our grassroots partners, community organizations whose programs depend on the support they get from volunteers.
- Help CPC staff with gatherings, meetings, or planning events.
- Share your specialized skills, whether that may be facilitation, fundraising, interpretation and translation, coordinating events, or other skills that could be helpful to CPC or our grassroots partners.
